About the area
Hout Bay is only about 20 mins drive from Cape Town City Centre but has a very relaxed, almost Village feel, to it. Set in a beautiful valley with stunning sea and mountain views it's an ideal spot to relax and unwind. It also a very popular harbour where you can jump aboard one of the many glass bottom boats for a short trip to Seal Island. There's also trips champagne trips to the exclusive resort of Camps Bay. If you fancy slightly more adventurous activities then horse-riding on the beach will blow the cobwebs away or put on your boots for one of the many hiking trails around the area. Hout Bay really is a perfect location to explore all that Cape Town has to offer.
