It nestles in a prime location just above the sea with exclusive Barley Bay beach directly below the house and only a four minute stroll to famous Camps Bay beach. This luxurious self-catering boutique accommodation, which is fully serviced Mondays to Fridays, will lift your spirits and refresh your soul with its amazing surrounding mountain and ocean scenery, and the sound of the crashing waves on the rocks below.
Externally, the house has been restored to her former glory and internally, she has had a complete make-over from the kitchens and en suite bathrooms down to the travertine floors. The elegance of the original sash windows and architraves expertly blend the old with the new.
Bingley Place is an elegant, double-storied house which can be rented out as a 5 bedroom en-suite self-catering but fully serviced villa with pool, or as 2 separate self-contained homes. There is no internal access between the two floors and they therefore have their own entrances.
Upstairs 3-bedroom The accommodation on the upper level has three bedrooms all en-suite. The two main bedrooms have king-sized beds, the finest percale linen, ocean views and the added feature of large baths opening up into the bedrooms. The third bedroom (two singles that, on request, can be made up into a king-sized bed) has its own private patio with views of the sea and mountain as well as a secluded outdoor Victorian bath in the garden! The modern open plan, fully equipped kitchen looks through the sitting room with fireplace, to the glass enclosed balcony which can be opened up completely to bring the sea and mountains into the house! The kitchen also leads onto an elegant dining room with beautiful eight-seater Victorian table plus piano! From the dining room you step out onto the pool deck which is perfect for entertaining and dipping into the crystal clear pool which overlooks the sea not 30m away!
Downstairs 2-bedroom The downstairs unit features two bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen and a combined sitting and dining room that spills out onto a private patio. There is also an outdoor private bath area. Antiques, original artworks, and beautiful vintage furniture from the 1920's are creatively coupled with modern conveniences to make this unique home welcoming and cosy.

Directions to Bingley Place from the Cape Town Airport
From the airport take the route N2 Cape Town.
Keep following the signs N2 Cape Town or N2 City.
As you get closer towards the city (approximately 13 kms from the airport), the highway will split. You need to follow the right fork and the roadsign will be: N2 Eastern Boulevard, Cape Town North, CTICC, Waterfront.
This road curls right around the city centre. Keep going straight following the signs M6 Sea Point, CTICC, Waterfront.
The highway will now end and you will start to drive through the city on Buitengracht Street. Just keep going straight following the signs: M62 Cableway.
The road will change names as you keep going straight. New Church st, the Kloofnek Rd.
When you get to the top of the hill, there is a small traffic circle. Here you go straight, following the signs: M62 Camps Bay, Bakoven.
You will now be in Camps Bay drive that is a long windy road going all the way down to the sea. At the T-junction turn left into Victoria Rd. M6 South, Hout Bay.
Bingley Place will be 200metres along on your left side. Look out for a white garage and a blue sign. The entrance to Bingley-3 is behind the garage and the entrance to Bingley-2 is a little further on.
