GUEST COMMENT: Dan Frost & Charlie Clapham, London, April 2009
"The huge light, airy, open areas in Luisa Way give you an immediate sense of calm and the huge reception area has a definite wow factor. We had the most relaxing time here with many friends coming and going throughout our stay - even when we had guests in all four bedrooms the house was never crowded as there are so many different areas within this large, secure, property. Everything we needed was taken care of with all the mod-cons in place, plus the biggest luxury; the fantastic Housekeeper who spoilt us rotten and did everything from our personal laundry to serving drinks by the pool... we thought we'd died and gone to heaven!"
Depart from the airport and drive into the centre of Cape Town and pick up signs for the Cable Way/ Camps Bay. Drive on the fantastically stunning coast road through Camps Bay on the M6 towards Llandudno/ Hout Bay, drive past the right hand turn to Llandudno up the hill and drop down into Hout Bay.
The road ahead forks - take the left hand fork signposted towards World Of Birds, follow the road down to the first traffic circle and turn left into Valley Road (signed to World of Birds).
Then take the first left hand turn into Lantedal Road and then the first right into Luisa Way (not sign posted). Drive for about 800 yards and on your right hand side you will see grey steel fencing and our entrance gates signposted Eleven On Luisa.
You have arrived! Press the bell and Lotty our Housekeeper will be waiting to welcome you for your stay.
About the area
Hout Bay is located about 20 mins from Cape Town city centre and V&A Waterfront along one of the most scenic drives in the world. From here you can experience all that Cape Town has to offer and there's also plenty to do for the children with World of Birds, regular boat trips and watersports aplenty.
