From Cape Town International Airport Follow the signs to the N2. Continue along the N2 for about 10km until you see signs to Muizenberg (M3). Follow the M3 for 20km (you will see Table Mountain and the university of Cape Town on your right). The M3 ends in a T-junction. Turn right. Go through one set of traffic lights (robots) and then just before the second set take the left fork and follow signs to Ou Kaapse Weg (M64). Follow the mountain pass for 12km. After 12km take a right at the second set of traffic lights and follow signs to Kommetjie. Continue for a further 8km, through 1 set of traffic lights until you see a 'welcome to kommetjie' signpost.
On entering Kommetjie - drive until you reach Fishermans on right and Superette on left - turn right after Fishermans into Van Imhoff Road - follow road to the sea - we are opposite car park (two palm trees) on corner Beach / Somerset Way.

Kommetjie is a picturesque fishing village in the Cape Peninsula. We have so much to offer in the village itself - surfing, swimming, diving, beach walks, hill walks and the tallest lighthouse (Slangkop) in South Africa! Along with a vibrant village centre which offers restaurtants, pub, deli, hair & beauty salon, library, post office and shops!
Just a short drive away is False Bay - which has the quaint, viby Kalk Bay and Simonstown with it's penquin colony and Scratch Patch. Cape Point is a mere 15 minutes drive, which boasts beauiful beaches and scenery!
The V&A Waterfront is only a 35 min drive - with it's Aquariam and cosmopolitan feel! Visit Table Mountain and Robben Island.
And if wine tasting appeals - then try our Constantia or Cape Point Wine Route - or if you go to Stellenbosch, Franschoek or Paarl. Everything is within reach - but when you've had enough of the maddening crowds - then retreat to tranquil Kommetjie!
