How to get there

Leopardstone Hill is extremely easy to find. Wind your way over the Silvermine mountains taking the scenic Ou Kaapse Weg. Turn right into Silvermine Road and you're there! Perched high above Noordhoek village, and just off Silvermine road is paradise - Leopardstone Hill.

About the area

Nestled below the world famous Chapman's Peak is a gorgeous rural village called Noordhoek. As one of the last country villages on the Cape peninsula, we take life slowly here. Keeping track of seasons; admiring sunsets and taking long walks on our 7kms of white beach gives us plenty to do. When the wind blows we head into the mountains to hike, picnic, mountain bike or rock climb.

During winter we light log fires and pour red wine. On rainy nights the whole village helps to assist our local endangered celebrity, the Western Leopard Toad, to successfully make the migration to and from local ponds. In Noordhoek we know the value of community and of conservation.

Horses are big in Noordhoek! Many residents keep their own horses and ride them through the country lanes, down to the beach. A romantic activity for visitors is to join a group ride on Noordhoek Beach at sunset. Gorgeous!

When we are hungry and thirsty, we head for the Noordhoek Farm Village where there are four eateries to choose from. At the Foodbarn you can experience 5-star cousine. The Foodbarn Deli makes the best pastries in the peninsula. The Toad in the Village Pub serves excellent pizza. And the burgers and cappucino's at Cafe Roux are incredible.

In Noordhoek we are not far from anything - 30 minutes to Cape Point and 30 minutes to Cape Town. We are right in the centre of the tourist routes, but we feel miles from everything! Come experience it for yourself!
