Currently under construction, the Green Point Stadium (also known as the African Renaissance Stadium), will be one of the showcase stadiums at the World Cup in 2010. Due for completion at the end of 2009, the stadium will have a capacity of 68,000 and is scheduled to host 8 World Cup matches including a Quarter and Semi Final.
