Table Mountain should be high on your list of places to visit in Cape Town. It is to Cape Town what Big Ben is to London and the Statue of Liberty is to New York... A world famous landmark. The iconic shape of Table Mountain can be seen from all around Cape Town with fantastic views from the V&A Waterfront and Blouberg Beach.
It's now time to see Cape Town from the summit of Table Mountain, but before you set out call the Information Line for a weather update - although it may be clear and sunny where you're staying the weather can change in an instant on top of the mountain. The cablecar is the preferred choice but the adventurous can hike which can take up to 3 hours depending on your fitness level!
