Based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, this story is a favourite amongst many readers of all ages appealing to over six generations. Thanks to the Broadway adaptation, this show brings the pages of the book to life on stage with a beautifully moving musical score accompanying all the highs and lows of the March family’s journey as four young sisters find their way in the world.
Written in the late 1860’s and set during the time of the American Civil War, there is a timelessness about Alcott’s story and it feels as relevant and identifiable now as it was then, perhaps even more so. Jo, the central character is an aspiring writer and story telling is very much at the heart of this piece.
A treat for all the family during the week that celebrates International Women's day and Mother's Day.
